So *s* *p* 10 / 60 / 60 (the divisions get us from seconds into hours). Sprint mode areas are calculated at *p* seconds each, and there's 10 of them per *s* Sprint Level. Your non-sprint areas are (*a* - 50*s*), so just divide that by APH to find the number of hours you spent in non-sprint mode. How many hours were you in the run? Well that depends on your APH (*h*), your Sprint (*s*) and the area you reset at (*a*). Take out the time calculation and it's not so bad, so let's attack that first.

Add that to 1 to get a multiplicative factor. DIS is defined as 2% per 100 areas but it is awarded incrementally with each level. That of course is multiplied by the percentage increase from your DIS talent. (In the fomula used by the chart, there is a Min function there to ensure that once you go past your cap area, you aren't getting more than your maximum crusader levels.) Maximum Crusader Levels is defined by *n* *x* - number of crusaders *times* maximum level. How many Crusader Levels do we have at a given area *a*? *f* is the number of Crusader Levels we have at a5, so linerally interpolate between 5 and *c* to see how many additional Crusader Levels we have. We get an idol for every *i* Crusader Levels. Looking at the first section, we're calculating base idols. This is the time between when you see Sprint from one boss to when you see Sprint on the next. I set this to 10 because that's what it is for me in my speed formation, but yours might be a little different. * *p* Seconds from one Sprint boss to another. This would be your speed formation's APH, not your GF's APH. * *d* Deep Idol Scavenger (DIS) Talent Level * *i* Levels per Idol (if you care about your IPH, you probably already have EC maxed, so this is likely 250)

Again, use your GF if you would normally switch to it right before a reset. * *c* is the area where you cap all Crusaders. You don't provide input for this value, but it's used in the formula to make the graph. This ignores any benefit you get from RQ gear. * *x* Maximum Crusader Level (yes, I could have used the two talent levels but it was easier to just put it in this way). If you have a dedicated gold form (GF) that you can switch to, use that form's result. * *f* is how many crusader levels you have after Area 5 (a5). Of course Assumptions are being made, so it won't be perfect, but it should be Close (tm). See the Explaination section below if you really care about the details, or want to verify the calculation is correct. Breaking it up, you see the base idol calculation, followed by the (relatively) simple DIS calculation, followed by the *bit* more complicated IoT calculation.

**Explaination:** (Feel free to point out any errors!) * Crusader Level gains obviously slow down as you approach your cap area (since the further left crusaders start capping first) but for purposes of the graph, this has been ignored. I found that to be true in general but with Sjin in my speed formation, gold gained per 5 areas varied *a lot* (but still averaged to linear increase). * Crusader Level gains from Area 5 to reset area proceeds at a constant rate. * The time for getting to Area 5 is ignored.

This means you are instakilling the entire time to reset. * Any bonuses (ad bonus, purchase bonuses, etc) are ignored. () (doesn't use Wolfram Alpha and is more responsive) And you can click on the graph to show expected IPH at the given area (you have to ensure you are on the line). Your expected IPH at cap is shown as well. The 30 minute mark is the vertical line, and your expected IPH is shown there.

Here's an example, with a link if you want to try it out and put your own numbers in. **NOTE: This has nothing to do with optimal chest collection. I made a general calculator that lets you set your different parameters to determine what your IPH reset curve looks like. See () for the latest.ĭiadem and I were running through some numbers, trying to calculate optimal resetting areas for **Idols Per Hour** (IPH) and he pointed me at a nice graph in Wolfram Alpha. With v0.127 and bonus idols, the calculator has been updated.
